People come to Alaska for various reasons. Some of us want an opportunity to chase coveted game fish amid pristine waters, while others wish to share priceless moments with the native fauna. From fishing to wildlife viewing and everything in between, “The Last Frontier” never disappoints. Part of what makes our beautiful state so alluring is the ease at which visitors can immerse themselves in Alaska’s sights, sounds, smells, and tastes. Specializing in providing an experience that draws from everything Alaska has to offer, Afognak Wilderness Lodge has been a premier Kodiak Island destination since 1974, thanks in part to our access to Afognak Island State Park.
